Central Contra Costa County Resources
Central Contra Costa Sanitary District has developed its Pharmaceutical Disposal Program by partnering with the Sheriff’s Department and eight local police departments in central Contra Costa County. Households may use any of the eleven collection sites to safely dispose of unwanted or expired medications. These sites are open to all county residents Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information, please download the brochure here. Note:

East Contra Costa County Resources
East Contra Costa offers medication disposal at the Delta Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility. It is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (except holidays) from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and is FREE to all East County residents.
